Core Banking Systems
GCP has participated in over 50 core banking systems implementation projects, visiting over 25 countries. Many of these projects have involved Misys Equation, for which we are considered expert specialists, but we have also worked with Misys Midas, Citydealer, Opics & Trade Innovation as well as Temenos T24 & Sanchez Profile.

Often we have worked under contract to the software vendors themselves and this means that our resources are able to keep up to date with new versions & modules.

We also work under contract to a number of banks who, either for reasons of economy or quality, prefer not to utilise consultants from the software vendors.

Services are delivered on two levels:

1. Implementation Consultancy — Leveraging our depth of knowledge in the software functions and facilities to optimise the implementation of a fully localised solution that is also as efficient as possible in the use of the licensed system.
2. Project Management — Leveraging our wide experience of implementations to advise on and control the method of project delivery. In particular balancing the deliveries and responsibilities of the bank and consulting teams.

Islamic Banking
There is a growing trend towards the establishment of Islamic Banks both inside and outside of the traditional Muslim countries. They are targeting the growing Muslim populations in traditionally non-Muslim or Secular countries.

Islamic banking is significantly different from “conventional” banking but in fact offers many interesting features and advantages to Muslims & non-Muslims alike. It is not inconceivable that non-Islamic banks will more often start to offer “Islamic style” banking services targeted at all of those who value the principles upon which Islamic banking is based.

GCP has sound experience of Islamic banking and is currently involved in the implementation of Islamic banking systems in Europe. We feel that this trend is set to continue and are keen to support its growth both because we see it as an opportunity for the growth in our business but also because we believe that the choice that it offers should be available to anyone who has or intends to have a relationship with a bank.

Channel Banking Systems
GCP has a highly experienced group of resources with significant exposure to the delivery channel banking solutions. In particular; ATM switches, Card Systems and internet banking.

We have participated in many projects in these areas and are requested to advise and act in a Project Management capacity to assist both suppliers and new users of channel banking solutions.
